About the Nanna Pants for your body type

Nanna pants are close fitting slim-line basic pants with narrow legs, for all sizes.

The pants are very basic with no pockets and with a waist facing and zipper at center-back (or at the side seam, if you prefer).
But the basic-ness of the pants make them the perfect slim fitting pants pattern to fit and use as a starting point for a lot of different designs: You can add pockets, change the width of the legs, make a waistband and a lot more. Check back on the blog soon for pattern hacks explained.

This sewing pattern is unique in that it is a pants pattern that was drafted so that it’s easier for you to fit it to your body.

You get two patterns, each for a different body type:
A body type, where the difference between the waist measurement and the hip measurement is more than 25 cm (10” ) – called CURVY. And another body type where the difference between the waist and the hip measurements is less than 25 cm (10 “) – called STRAIGHT.

The pattern comes with detailed step-by-step illustrated instructions, that teaches you sewing, like all Mariadenmark patterns.

Sizing

The MariaDenmark Nanna Pants pattern does not only have all sizes from size 34-54 included. It has two different size ranges, each customized to the corresponding body types. In short: Those, who have a waist relatively small compared to their hip size (often referred to as A-shaped/pear-shaped, but could also be X/hourglass). And those whose waist measurements are closer to their hip measurements, such as those often referred to as H or straight body types, V body types and even O/apple and hourglass body types with less definition.

Pick your size from the measurement chart and the detailed directions in the instructions.
