FAQ
Q: How do I pause or cancel my Sewing Life Membership Subscription?
A: Log into www.sewinglife.com using your Simplero-ID and password. Once that is done, follow the instructions in this link to pause or cancel the membership.
Q: How do I download my Sewing Life Patterns and Bonus Material and watch the videos?
A: Watch the video below to see how to log in and download your Sewing Life material
Q: I didn’t receive my pattern / Where can I find my patterns?
A: The pattern was send to you INSIDE the order confirmation when you placed your order. Please check all your folders, it might be hiding in a spam folder or a promotions folder somewhere. Alternatively, you can also log in to https://www.mariadenmark.com/my-account/ with the user name you might have created when ordering and your password and download your files from there – they will always be available for you there. If you can’t find your order confirmation and didn’t create a username when ordering, email me at maria@mariadenmark.com and I’ll fix it for you.
Q: How do I get the pattern for the Kimono Tee?
A: To get the pattern for the MariaDenmark Kirsten Kimono Tee, all you have to do, is to sign up for the MariaDenmark Newsletter (Sign up in pop-up box here or on the front page.) You will then receive an email with a link to download the pattern. Check all your folders, if it doesn’t show up within 10 minutes, it often hides in spam and promotion folders.
Q: How do I print the patterns?
Most MariaDenmark patterns come in 3 different formats (all will, as soon as I get around to fix them all): A4/Letter-format to print on your standard home printer, A3-format to print on an A3 printer and A0/Copyshop36″-format to print in a copyshop or with a large format printer. For A0/Copyshop36″-format I highly recommend Brooklyn Motif in USA, and Netprinter for Europe. For A4/letter-format and A3-format, follow the directions in the sewing instructions and in the video here:

Q: Are the patterns easy to assemble?
A: In short, yes. See above video for instructions on how I assemble patterns. It usually takes about 30 seconds per page.
Q: What sizes do MariaDenmark patterns come in?
A: It differs a bit. Newer (or recently updated) patterns usually come in size 34-54 or XS – 4XL. Check the product descriptions for the individual pattern for size charts (which, unfortunately also differ a bit. So check each pattern. Find a list of all the patterns HERE
Q: How do I add seam allowances?
A: Here is a video that shows my favourite way to add seam allowances to a pattern:
Q: Why do MariaDenmark patterns not come with seam allowances included?
A: My patterns don’t include seam allowances. That is because, to get the best fit, and to draft design changes, you need to work exactly at the seam lines. When you add seam allowances outside of the seam lines, you can always go back at work at the seam lines.
And another reason: You need different size seam allowances for different places. And it also depends on the technique you want to use. So when you add your own, YOU are the boss of the technique and the amount of seam allowance you prefer.
Q: Would you help me with my fitting problems?
A: I wish I could help all of you. If you are a member of Sewing Life, you can submit your question for the monthly Zoom meeting and I will answer and show you how to work with your fitting in the recorded meeting. I don’t offer any individual fitting at the moment (I might at a later point, though). I will also try to help you the best I can from pictures and video, if you post in the MariaDenmark Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/MariaDenmarkSewing/
Q: Can you help me figure out this sewing technique?
A: I probably can, and I will, if I have time, if you post in the MariaDenmark Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/MariaDenmarkSewing/
